Written & First Proposed by IAMwe Innovations.

We strongly believe that change begins with service and community. The music industry has suffered a serious blow, but just as an olive tree can grow again following a fire, so can our industry. At The Restoring Music Foundation, we attempt to analyze the industry through a new scope and together begin the re-growth process. We are simply musicians and music lovers joined for change in the name of art and our right to pursue it.

Several issues affect the current recording industry crisis, however at the core is music piracy. The option to steal is here to stay. Up until now we have been battling the behavior, one lawsuit at a time. Yet the truth is, it can never be fully policed as long as we live in a free country that values the privacy of its citizens. The true battle is in the mind. We must all commit to change our thinking. We must unite to restore.

Everyone has to do their part. Professionals do their part by adopting new models that give incentive for fans to buy. Artists do their part by spreading the notion of change. Music fans MUST commit to buying music. There is a difference between sharing and stealing. Educate yourself! And most importantly, we must ALL commit to think outside the box, analyze the problems, and work together for new solutions. Together we can build a foundation for change and restoration.

Sign the declaration. Commit to change.
