The Restoring Music Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to restoring the value of music in the minds of the consumers. It is based out of Nashville, TN and Los Angeles, CA.

The Restoring Music Foundation was created to generate thought and dialogue within the professional music industry and to provide a foundation for change by defining the crisis, providing solutions, and building a network of companies and individuals who can facilitate a change. The fuel that drives the foundation is the ongoing Restoring Music Discussion that takes place in more than 30 different professional locations.

The foundation was founded by Chris Purifoy, a music indusry consultant and entrepreneur out of Nashville, TN and Phil Daniels an entertainment lawyer with his own law firm, Daniels Media Law, based out of Los Angeles.  Phil has worked with some of music's top performers including: Beyonce, Herbie Hancock, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Queen, Depeche Mode, Spice Girls and Paul Oakenfold among others.

Over the coming months The Restoring Music Foundation, along with our wonderful partners, will be incubating new startups and working to provide new universal business models that can aid the industry in this time of crisis.  We are currently assembling a committee of music industry professionals to aid us in our quest to restore the music industry.  Once the problems document has been finalized, the committee will collaborate to produce a restoration plan. We will announce the committee members soon.  Stay tuned...
